He has held senior leadership roles as Executive Director of the World Human Forum, Country Director for ActionAid and Amnesty International in Greece, and Special Advisor on Volunteering and the Youth Sector at the Greek Ministry of Education, where he also chaired the EU Council’s Working Group “Youth.” An accomplished consultant, mentor, and trainer, he has delivered lectures, workshops, and keynote talks worldwide, including at the UN and TEDx. Gerasimos holds a PhD in Management (Bayes Business School), an MBA (Nottingham Trent University), and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), complemented by executive education at Harvard Kennedy School and Syracuse University. Alongside his professional career, he is an accomplished artist—an opera singer with over 150 performances, an internationally recognized photographer (AFIAP), and a published poet. He is a member of the BMW Foundation Responsible Leaders Network and founder of the Inner Development Goals Hub in Greece.
